The Pan South African Language Board (PanSALB) was established in South Africa (also known as ) File:Flag of South Africa.svg to promote multilingualism and language rights as well as to develop the official languages of South Africa (also known as ) File:Flag of South Africa.svg. The body was established through an Act of parliament (59 of 1995, amended by Act 10 of 1999).
