In Salty's Lighthouse, the Duchess became the "Queen Victoria". She makes the most cameos of any TUGS liner character. The Duchess seems to be based on the Hamburg-America Line ship SS Imperator, which was given to the Cunard Line after World War One to replace the RMS Lusitania which was torpedoed of the coast of Ireland in 1915, and renamed Berengaria after the 12th Century English queen of the same name. Like the Imperator (Berengaria), she has 3 stacks, a open promenade, and is 919 feet long. When Captain Star says that she is "one of the biggest liners around", he means that she's not the largest liner in the world, a reference to how Imperator was surpassed by her younger sisters Leviathan and Majestic. Her nationality is British.

The film delves into Georgiana’s passionate and doomed affair with Earl Grey, the future Prime Minister, and the complex love triangle with her husband and her best friend, Lady Bess Foster. * A Threesome Is Hot * Break the Cutie: Dear God... * Did Not Do the Research: The real Elizabeth Foster only had two sons with her first husband. She did also have a daughter though the daughter died eight days after her birth. * Easily Forgiven: Georgiana forgives both the Duke and Bess in the end, despite all of the suffering they put her through (The Duke more than Bess of course). * Happy Ending: Somehow... * Jerkass: The Duke. Has shades of Jerkass Woobie towards the end. * Les Yay: Between Georgiana and Bess to the point of being a Romantic Two-Girl Friendship. * Marital Rape License * Spirited Young Lady: Georgiana. * The Stoic: The Duke. * Table Space * Your Cheating Heart: The Duke is very obvious about his affairs. Georgiana briefly has one with a Charles Grey but that ends badly.

On The Muppet Show, the Duchess is a minor figure, appearing in the chorus and background of many scenes. She has a single solo line during the "Smile" medley, and is usually accompanied by the baby. During the courtroom scene, she's holding a piglet, the transformed baby; both serve as proxy Muppaphone keys for judge Marvin Suggs.
