It is part of Capcom's Vs. series, this time having Capcom characters fighting Tatsunoko Production characters.
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars feature characters from the Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production and video game company Capcom. Like traditional fighting games, gameplay consists of attempting to knockout the opponent on a two-dimensional (2D) plane. This plane creates a 2.5D environment in conjunction with character models and backgrounds rendered with three-dimensional (3D) graphics—a first for the Vs. series. The game's control scheme combine attributes of both the Wii and of the Vs. series to create a simplified three-button attack system. It supports five different control options, two of which offer a more simplified control method.
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is a fighting game with characters from the game company Capcom and the anime company Tatsunoko. The game was released in two versions: Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes for arcade and Wii in December 2008 only in Japan, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars for Wii in January 26, 2010 worldwide. The game features MegaMan Volnutt from the MegaMan Legends series and Roll from the classic series as playable characters, and the Gesellschaft is one of the stages, having Servbots, Draches and Hornisses. Mega Man and Dr. Light both appear in Roll's ending.
  • The game was originally released as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes only in Japan in 2008 for arcade and Wii. Later, a newer version called Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars was released for Wii in Japan, North America and Europe, featuring five new characters not available in the original version, but removing one Tatsunoko character from the previous version. The release date for the Japanese edition was on January 28, 2010, January 26, 2010 in North America, and January 29, 2010 in Europe.
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is a crossover fighting game developed by Eighting and published by Capcom. The game features characters from both Capcom's video game franchises and various anime series produced by Tatsunoko Production. The game was originally released in Japan for arcades and the Wii video game console in December 2008 as Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes. Following high demand from international fans, Capcom worked with Tatsunoko to resolve international licensing issues and a second iteration, Ultimate All-Stars, was released for the Wii in North America, Japan, and Europe in January 2010, featuring additional characters and an online mode.
  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All-Stars is a crossover fighting game developed by Eighting and published by Capcom for the Wii video game console. It is the seventh Capcom-designed installment in the Vs. video game series consisting of Marvel vs. Capcom and Capcom vs. SNK. After a seven year hiatus during the decline of the fighting genre's popularity, it was originally released in 2008 as the Japan-exclusive Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes; fan reception convinced Capcom to localize it for North America and Europe in 2010, with help from Japanese animation studio Tatsunoko Production on international licensing issues.
