Chūgo Omu (苧六中御, Omu Chūgo) is a wandering shinobi from Chogakure. As Chūgo’s actual lineage is unknown, he adopted the surname of his surrogate father and mentor Eiji Omu upon the latter’s death, whom he still possesses a deep and abiding respect for. He is currently self-employed as a mercenary, free-lance bounty hunter, and odd-jobs. Despite having not returned to his village for several years, he is not considered a missing-nin as the leader of the garrison at Chogakure has hired him as a long-distance spy in surrounding lands. Chūgo is a notable expert in bukijutsu, and his current level of skill places him on the cusp of being classified as a jōnin. Currently he is searching for a means to replace his eye, and to that end is focused on improving his own abilities. His true motivations for acquiring power, however, remain unclear.
