| - Sarah Edwards was a human Insurrectionist. Born into a United Rebel Front family, at the age of sixteen, she became a fighter of the URF. After having been studied by her superiors, Edwards was chosen to become a rebel plant in the United Nations Space Command. Although she resisted the idea initially, the other Insurrectionists convinced her to do so by regaling her with horror stories of being a rebel infantryman, that her talents would be better used as a plant, and multiple other methods. As a result, she went through the admissions process, and was appointed to Luna Officer Candidate School in 2524. During her training at the school, Edwards tried to keep herself in the average part of the class, knowing she would be placed under a magnifying glass if she did very poorly or if she stood out. After graduating in 2531, with the threat of the Covenant, Edwards became more vehemently pro-UNSC. Assigned to Mamore to fly the B-22 Lancer II, in 2535, Edwards was accosted by three aircrew, two of whom were from the Colonial Military Administration aviation contingent on base, who ordered her to defect, and that they were going to help. Refusing to do so, Edwards pulled out her sidearm, and shot at the rebels, who proceeded to shoot her in the head and take the aircraft. However, she survived the shooting, and was sent to Earth to recuperate, later flying F-32 Skyhawk II's during the Battle of Earth and earning the Colonial Cross for her valorous actions. She retired from the UNSC Air Force in 2559, after she was forced to eject from her aircraft after being hit with a missile from a Venezian fighter, and lived out the rest of her days on Mars as a private aircraft pilot.
