abstract	Built to be a flagship the Centurion is known for its toughness in combat and ability to take on vessels within its class with more ease then either previous designs. Using a prototype armor alloy the Centurion has much more hull strength then even the Imperial Star Destroyers. It does this, due to the alloy, without sacrificing much in terms of speed, shielding and other important systems. Unique in its very oriental design the Centurion also has a unique starfighter launching system. On each side the capital ship has six launch tubes capable of accelerating craft to near full speed using a catapult. Add this to the fact that it can also launch fighters through the dorsal hanger bay access point and it is quickly able to scramble and retrieve fighters. This, along with its long standing ability to survive even the toughest of situations makes up for its very expensive construction costs.
