The Halo Announcement Trailer was the trailer that first unveiled Halo: Combat Evolved to the public in 1999. It was created when Halo was still destined to be third person shooter for the Mac and PC, a demo run in realtime on a Power Mac G3 with Rage 128. The version of Halo shown in the trailer differs heavily from the final game, but some of the core elements, like SPARTAN-II supersoldiers, Elites, the Warthog, Ghosts, Banshees and many weapons, were already in. The music played in the trailer is the Halo Theme.
