- A positron was a coherent particle that could be focused with large magnetic rings. The physical properties of positrons made the positronic brain possible.
- The Positron Weapons Technology, is essentially an extremely scaled down Superlaser. Scaled down so much so, that it is capable to be used in multiples on a vessel smaller than an Imperial Star Destroyer, as shown with the Twilight Templar Starship, Scales of Balance. They however consume much more power than a Turbolaser, and are not meant to be a replacement for them on most vessels - the Scales of Balance is one such vessel that relies on usage of only Positron Batteries for its weaponry.
- Doctor Raymond Keyes more commonly called Positron, is a hero from the superhero themed MMO City of Heroes. Positron is a nuclear powered super hero with the power to project powerful energy blasts. While Positron's power-armor provides basic protection for him and grants him the ability to fly it's main function is in-fact to shield those around him from the nuclear energy he gives off.

- Positron is a signature hero, a Task Force organizer in Steel Canyon, and a member of the Freedom Phalanx and one of the Surviving Eight. His location in Steel Canyon is (-3136, -80, -501). He regularly appears as a hero reinforcement in Recluse's Victory. Heroes find him as an ally at the end of the Mender Silos Task Force. Villains face him as a signature hero in Recluse's Victory as well as in the following missions:
