Derek Basco played an unnamed store front cashier on Day 7: 3:00pm-4:00pm of 24. Basco started out in independent film productions for PM Entertainment group including A Dangerous Place and Tiger Heart (with Ron Yuan) as well as guest-starring on the company's TV show LA Heat. In 2003, he co-directed, co-starred and wrote an indie titled Naked Brown Men after having had recurring roles on the short-lived series Love & Money as well as recurring stints on Becker and the 2003 rehash of Dragnet. Basco later supplied various voice-overs for the Nikelodeon cartoon show Avatar: The Last Airbender and had a recurring role on the comedy series The Guild in 2008.
