The President of the Commonwealth of Sainte Genevieve is the highest elected office in the Commonwealth, and the president functions as head of state. Though he or she does hold some executive powers, the President delegates most of these to the State Council via the Prime Minister. The Office of President is outlined in Section 2 of the Constitution. According to Article 12, the President must live in or near Rossport.
