The Hubble Telescope was originally theorized by Lyman Spitzer in 1946 when a cloud covered the small community of Astronomy Land. Mass panic ensued as not a star, terrestrial planet, Jovian planet, comet, asteroid, meteor, planetary nebula, reflection nebula, emission nebula, spiral galaxy, irregular galaxy, barred spiral galaxy, elliptical galaxy, globular cluster, open cluster, molecular cloud, quasar, cosmic string, Google, Youtube, 4chan, or any other astronomical object was visible. The entire town was destroyed by rioting. 23 lives were claimed. This led to the idea of building a telescope above the clouds, so that the wonders of the universe can easily be seen without needing patience.

  • The Hubble Space Telescope is a telescope that is orbiting the Earth at this moment. It can take pictures of all the galaxies that are away from our galaxy, the Milky Way. It is a satellite that is sending information back to Earth.
  • The Hubble Space Telescope is a giant telescope in space built in the late 20th century. After over 1000 years of upgrades, it looked like an Omicronian Mothership. It was destroyed by Philip J. Fry in the First Omicronian Invasion of Earth because it looked like an Omicronian Ship.
  • The Hubble Space Telescope was a telescope that orbited the planet Earth in the 20th and 21st centuries. In the year 1998, Hubble's orbital systems were tested as part of the space shuttle Discovery's STS-95 mission. (Star Trek Magazine Issue 162: "Blast Off! Spaceflight Chronology") In 2020, the Hubble tracked an alien probe the USS Lewis & Clark had encountered near Saturn, but eventually lost the probe when it exited the system. (TOS novel: The Rings of Time)
  • The Hubble Space Telescope is a big tube in orbit around the Earth. It apparently has unfathomably acute visual resolution, as it can show details as small as a few inches wide from a distance of tens of millions of miles.
  • Hubble Space Telescope is a space telescope in orbit about 600 km around Earth. The telescope is named for astronomer Edwin Hubble. Tau'ri is in orbit around Earth. Tau'ri use the probe for exploring galaxy and universe. In 1998 was NASA discovered Klorel's Ha'tak and Apophis' Ha'tak approaching the solar system. NASA sent a message to Stargate Command that they would adjust the Hubble get a better picture of the ships. (SG1: "Within the Serpent's Grasp")
  • The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit by the space shuttle in April 1990. It is named after the American astronomer Edwin Hubble. Although not the first space telescope, the Hubble is one of the largest and most versatile, and is well-known as both a vital research tool and a public relations boon for astronomy. The HST is a collaboration between NASA and the European Space Agency, and is one of NASA's Great Observatories, along with the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory, the Chandra X-ray Observatory, and the Spitzer Space Telescope.
  • The Hubble Space Telescope is a large telescope that orbits Earth and photographs distant stars, galaxies, and other stellar phenomena. Without the distortion due to the atmosphere by being permanently positioned in low earth orbit, it has taken pictures of the farthest objects ever seen in the universe and very detailed pictures of closer objects. Five service missions were made to the Hubble Telescope including adjusting it to correct the faulty mirror system originally installed in it. The telescope is expected to operate until at least 2030.
  • The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is a space telescope that was carried into orbit by a Space Shuttle in 1990 and remains in operation. A 2.4 meter (7.9 ft) aperture telescope in low Earth orbit, Hubble's four main instruments observe in the near ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared. The telescope is named after the astronomer Edwin Hubble.
  • Hubble Space Telescope was a manned space telescope. In 2328, this was the destination for John Crunsfeld. He had traveled from the Kennedy Space Center on the SS Kogin. (TNG-R: "Inheritance" , okudagram)
