  • Red Potion is a recurring item in the Legend of Zelda series. This is a type of curative medicine, easily identified by its red color. Normally, Link must have a Bottle to store the potion in. It is usually a common item, which can be purchased from shops or brewed; occasionally, Mushrooms or Red Chu Jelly are required to make Red Potion. Normally, this potion costs more than a Green Potion but less than a Blue Potion because the Blue Potion usually has the effects of both the Red and Green Potions. The price is usually around 60 Rupees.
  • A potion made from grinded Red Herbs that restores about 45 HP.
  • Red Potions raise the intelligence of the consumer to 25 and gives a magic resistance of 50%, but lowers strength and wisdom to 3. This potion lasts 24 hours. This item appears in Baldur's Gate and Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition. It can be bought from a merchant who is one tent at the Carnival. He will try to sell this item once to the party for 50 Image:Goldpieces.png if buying the Violet Potion off him as well, or 40 Image:Goldpieces.png if reusing to buy the Violet Potion which can't be bought afterwards. If the leader refuses, it can't be bought later. The merchant will only sell one potion.
  • Red Potions restore a fixed amount of HP upon use. Their cool-down time is 60 seconds. Levels 1 to 3 are available from Merchant NPCs.
  • Red potions restore your HP(Hit Points). There are three potions in all: Small Red potion:Restores a small amount of HP. Medium Red Potion:Restores a good amount of HP. Large Red Potion:Restores a Large amount of HP.
  • The Red Potion is a key item that appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.
