Zindi Bent is a cryptoclidus inventor who developed plans for automatic mining machines, among other creations. • Zindi Bent is a cryptoclidus inventor who developed plans for automatic mining machines, among other creations. Unfortunately, her blueprints were stolen by two cryptoclidus crooks who led the Doom-Flipper Gang. The group changed her designs into automatic robbing machines, causing the innocent Zindi to become implicated in their activities. She (correctly) claimed that the criminals had snatched and twisted her designs for their own purposes. She was unable to prove her innocence, though, and so the DSS sent her to space prison. The prison governor, Bunwinkle, was sympathetic to Zindi's case and allowed her, under his supervision, to develop a time machine to prove her innocence of the crime. Bunwinkle successfully taped the Doom-Flipper Gang's leaders stealing her designs, but the astrosaurs, who were investigating Zindi, wanted to test the device for themselves. Unfortunately for Zindi Bent, another inmate, General Loki, attacked them and took her time machine for his own use. Zindi built a second time machine with Arx's help to allow the astrosaurs to chase Loki into the past, to Earth. When Teggs, Arx, Gipsy, and Iggy defeated Loki and returned to their corrected timeline, Admiral Rosso granted the long-suffering Zindi a full pardon. As a reward for her help in stopping the raptor's plan, she was allowed to help the DSS work on new inventions in SSSS-One.
