Harry Pell is a midfielder who joined Rovers in the summer of 2010, after having been released by Charlton Athletic. He was named on the substitutes' bench for most games early in the 2010–11 season, but it took until 13 November 2010 for him to finally make his debut, coming on for Stuart Campbell 74 minutes into a 3–0 defeat to Leyton Orient. Late in January 2011, having still made just that one appearance for Rovers, he was shipped out on loan to Hereford United. He produced a string of impressive performances for The Bulls, and on his return to Bristol he was rewarded by a run of games in the first team and ended the season by winning the club's Young Player of the Year award.
