- The Earthmother was believed to be an aspect of the deity Chauntea, but in truth she was a primal spirit representing the power of nature on Toril. The Earthmother was venerated as a goddess by the Ffolk, the native human inhabitants of the Moonshae islands. The Earthmother had three "mortal" servants: The Leviathan, the Unicorn, and the Pack (an enormous pack of well-coordinated wolves), each with powers beyond the usual for their kind due to the Earthmother's favor.
