  • This is a policy regarding the making of articles for items that do not exist. This refers to, but is not limited to, all nonexistent NPCs, monsters, items, weapons, armour, holiday drops, and gameplay elements. In this policy, item refers to all of these. 1. * Articles about unreleased items with valid proof of being implemented in the future may be created under normal circumstances. Links and references to the evidence should be supplied. 2. * Articles about items that players have found pictures of on the official site are allowed to be created. This includes, but is not limited to, Runecrafting talismans and some dragon items. 3. * Articles about items that once existed in-game are allowed to be created. This includes temporary holiday items such as snowballs. 4. * Articles about notable urban legends are allowed to be created if the rumour has been recognised by many players. 5. * Articles, with images obtained from the official RuneScape website, or extracted from the Jagex cache folder (.jagex_cache_32), are not allowed. If you need to use a third-party software to find the item, do not write an article about it. 6. * Topics often riddled with non-canon lore should be examined for fan fiction. Website sections are widely considered to be canon as they are owned by Jagex. In general, out-of-game sources should be cited as well as reliable. In a nutshell, lore that is not canon to Old School RuneScape's storyline does not belong in mainspace. 7. * Commonly discussed things that do not exist in Old School RuneScape, such as various dragon, white items, and black items should be redirected to nonexistence. If an article about a nonexistent item meets these criteria, it should be added to .
