Ambijection, alternatively spelt as Ambejection (portmanteau of Ambidextrous Ejection) is a term referring to an operation where the spent casing recoils and ejects behind the magazine area. While many firearms have this type of action, such as the FN P90, TKB-059, Smith & Wesson Model 1940 and JARD J67, the term ambijection is used to refer to this sort of action.
