Synopsis
  • In a future dig of "old Manhattan," archaeologists Zack and Lana discover Spidey's web-shooter with his blood on it. Bringing it to their lab, they speculate about the Age of Heroes. In the present, Spidey enters the sewers to search for Linda Greico, a lost little girl. The archaeologists imagine Spidey to be the most revered of the heroes with a "Spider-cave," "Spider-Cycle," "Spider-Copter," hi-tech gear, and great hero parties. In the sewer, Spidey finds Linda, but falling debris injures his arm and damages his web-shooter, which he removes and leaves behind. Spidey returns Linda to the firemen, who accuse him of having her all along. Zack wonders if he can replicate Spidey's blood, reproduce his powers and create a new age of heroes to follow in the footsteps of "the greatest costumed crusader of all" since the world needs heroes and those who believe in them. As Spidey escapes the jeering crowd, Linda looks up at him, still believing.
