In 2008, Mattel started Hot Wheels Conventions out of the USA, starting with Mexico Hot Wheels Convention and Brazil Hot Wheels Convention . These countries have hosted 3 editions each. The first edition of Japan Hot Wheels Convention are scheduled for December 2010.
