During Redjac's final manifestation within Hengist, Tankris was briefly taken hostage and threatened with death by the entity, but she was not afraid, having been tranquilized earlier against the emotion Redjac fed itself with. After a brief moment, Hengist let Tankris go and threw her into Doctor McCoy's arms. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold" ) Tankris was played by Judy McConnell.
