Earl Bennett was an American comic actor and musician, and editor at Hanna-Barbera. He toured with Spike Jones and His City Slickers, before appearing on The Spike Jones Show (starring Lennie Weinrib at a later point), under the name Sir Frederick Gas. Bennett died due to complications of old age in 2007, at the age of 87.
