  • The High Council were originally the host of the Order of the Zakarum in Eastern Kurast. They befell a fate similar to that of Tristram where Mephisto was able to possess them through corruption leaked from his Soul Stone, which was stored in the Durance of the Temple by the Horadrim. The High Council are a group of six Super Uniques found guarding the entrance to the Durance and the Compelling Orb. Each uses attacks and elements symbolised by their names. The best way to approach them is to lure them one at a time into the way point room to avoid interference by other monsters or Council Members. A special feature to be noted which holds true for each council member is their succeptability to knockback. Contrary to most other bosses it is possible to use knockback to completely put a council member into an innert lockdown so savour the use of smite, dragon talon, mind blast or another generic fast attacks with knockback. - DreadTalon 19:33, 20 December 2008 (UTC)
