She was the cousin of Kings Andrist of Rhaetia, and of the late King Arne of Austrasia. He was the second son, so he inherited nothing from his father. When he reached the age of manhood, Sven went into the dark woods, and came out as the leader of Punainen Kasi.

His mercenaries have worked for the Slavs, the Scythians, and most famously, the Carthaginians under the late King Hanno, helping them to aquire two provinces in Afrika. After this, Sven decided that he would travel to Ungaria, and start a new chapter in his life. Sven Josefson has somewhat of an alcohol problem, which he will admit, but does nothing to help minimise his problem. He is also vey superstitious, which holds him back from accomplishing some of his goals. Sven's love is Eraste Exousia, of Sparta. She is a fierce piratess, but latley has been staying with Sven on the land, helping him consolidate power, and make new alliances, and also new enemies. With the help of his Germanic army
