    • [[Category:Encounter ]] [[Category:]] Force orb is an evocation spell learned by inexperienced wizards. A wizard who casts force orb creates an invisible sphere of force energy, which he or she then throws a distance of 100 feet or less at a designated target. Once the orb collides with its target, it shatters and bursts into a series of invisible daggers that cut through both the target and adjacent objects. The spell is easy to learn, but requires no small amount of concentration on the part of the wizard so that once it is cast, the wizard must rest briefly before casting it again.
