  • The Al-Antidian calendar, also called the Atlantean calendar or the Proto calendar, was a 275-day calendar used by the Atlantean civilization shortly after the foundation of the Al-Antidian Empire by Amilanius. The calendar was designed by Pnopleios, one of the major bureaucrats of the imperial administration of Amilanius, basing it on the previous dating systems used by the pre-Amilanian states. Using modern terms and standards, the calendar is composed by a total of 12 months (corresponding to each of the Sacred Twelve), each with 28 days and four 7-day weeks. The last five days of each Atlantean year were not part of any month, regarded as too dangerous to be made part of any structured system. However, there exist records of their existence and well as the beliefs associated with this period.
