Germania, in the universe of No Christianity World, is composed of all of northern Europa. Even today it is considered a backwater. Most of the people there live in relative poverty and have little contact with other areas in Europa. It became a large producer of lumber during the Age of Atlas, but was ignored as soon as the Industrial Revolution began. It gained its Commonwealth status in 1499 AUC; it was the last of the former provinces to do so.
