Born on Corellia to a Human father and Zeltron mother, he was considered proficient at mathematics and engineering from a young age, scoring high marks at school, and eventually took a position at the Simiyar Tech corporation, assisting in the design and testing of prototype aircraft. He found the work and pay unsatisfactory, however, and soon began venturing into the underworld to find high-paying customers for his designs. When he found that pilot Prete Maverik was assembling an elite squadron, he decided to join, assisting in the assembling of the team's fightercraft using components and resources he appropriated from Simiyar. However, he was eventually found out, and lost his job, and was also marked a criminal for theft and embezzlement. He decided to permanently join The Flyboys, and having gained piloting skills from his Simiyar days he nearly always took part in combat missions, flying his heavy fighter, the NV-665 Token. He also served as the official engineer of the team, performing repairs, maintenance and upgrades, if necessary. Nevertheless, due to what were considered to be his somewhat backward social skills, he was not often treated completely seriously by his wingmen.
