  • Judge Arbus was a character on Xena: Warrior Princess. He was a judge and one of few that was known as a fair man. He had a reputation of being precise with verdicts, all due to a case involving a man named Volkur, where Arbus found him guilty of a harsh crime (most probably murder) and executed him. When Meleager, the mighty warrior famous for his heroics during the Battle of Liguria, was put on trial for murder, Arbus was his judge. However, when things seem that they aren't adding up, Xena became very sceptic of Meleager's case and did some investigating herself. She discovered that Arbus lied his way through the infamous case of Volkur's, and executed him knowing full well that he was innocent, for the sake of his reputation. Xena managed to use this information to prove Meleager's innocence and brought Arbus and his career down for good. He was played by Tony Blackett.
