Unknown to the rest of the world, Sir. Tristan, along with his King, and his fellow Kings, were Quincy, who used their Quincy powers to defeat human enemies and Hollows. Despite being a member of the Ritter der Tafelrunde, he was one of only two, along with Sir. Bors the Younger, to unlock his true Spirit Weapon beyond just a simple bow, and thus had to be fashioned a special sword, with a design he chose, to use in battle.
