Young Link (こどもリンク, Child Link) is an unlockable character in Super Smash Bros. Melee. He is a direct clone of Link, with some minor differences. Young Link was replaced with Toon Link in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Young Link currently ranks 16th on the tier list in the E tier, two places higher than Link. This is mostly due to him having good combos, grapple, and projectile game. However, he is very light, sports abysmal power with a few KO options, and has a predictable recovery.
