- When LaCroix came to Toronto in 1992, he did not contact Nick Knight directly. Instead, he began broadcasting on CERK Radio as the Nightcrawler as a way of challenging him over the Mayan jade cup that LaCroix assumed Nick sought as a cure for vampirism.
