KCAPL-TV is a commercial-free television station in Missoula, Montana and broadcasts on channel 30. It is owned by KIVO Television Group which also owns KIVO-TV. KCAPL-TV started transmissions as a The Children's Metro Network affiliate in December 1993. On February 20, 1995, KCAPL became a Cartoon Network affiliate. On March 17, 1997, KCAPL gained a secondary affiliation with Toonami. KCAPL received a third affiliation with Adult Swim on September 2, 2001. KCAPL disaffiliated with Toonami when Toonami shut down on September 20, 2008, but reaffiliated with Toonami when Toonami came back on May 26, 2012.
