Bluemax was a machine that competed in the second series of Dutch Robot Wars, and lost its first round battle against eventual champion PulverizeR. Bluemax was a joint effort between Team Blue and Team BAFL. The teams had previously worked on machines Blue and Maximill respectively, and combined the two names to form Bluemax. Just like with Blue in the previous series, the team added a fun factor to the proceedings by dressing up in blue costumes and dyeing their hair and skin blue. Bluemax is also the informal name of a German WWI military medal called the Pour le Mérite.
