They were also equipped with a transporter system and a cloaking device. This type of vessel was capable of exceeding warp factor 5. In late 2152, Enterprise NX-01 encountered one of these ships while trying to salvage a 31st century time travel pod. The freighter was destroyed, along with several spherical and cylindrical cell ships, by a group of Tholian starships also attempting to claim the futuristic craft. (ENT: "Future Tense") This type of spacecraft is not given a name on screen. Its designation of "Suliban freighter" comes from the final draft script of "Future Tense", the episode's production report, and an entry about the ship that was on Doug Drexler's blog. Also in the script, the craft was described as "about half the size" of an NX-class starship, an otherwise unidentified area of the ship's interior which, in the installment, appears on Enterprise's viewscreen was referred to as "a one-wall bridge set," and the craft's weaponry was identified as "pulse weapons".
