However, a currently unknown Toa of Time traveled to the Reign of Shadows and altered history so the Dark Future would never come. Because of this however, the Reign of shadows is lasting much longer then it should have. An unknown Makuta wearing an Olmak who resembles Shadow Ceasame has arrived in the universe, intending to change history so that the Dark Future does occur.
