| - Masashi Kishimoto(岸本 斉史Kishimoto Masashi) (born 8 November, 1974) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series 666 Satan and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.
- Masashi Kishimoto ist ein japanischer Mangaka, der bei Shueisha, dem größten Manga-Verlag weltweit, unter Vertrag steht. Er ist der Autor der Naruto-Reihe und dadurch einer der bestverdienensten und einflussreichsten Manga-Autoren weltweit. Für sein Werk wurde er vielfach ausgezeichnet und es hat bereits 72 Bände, eine Animeverfilmung, elf Kinofilme, diverse Videospiele und zahlreiche Merchandise-Artikel hervorgebracht. Er hat einen jüngeren Zwillingsbruder, der ebenfalls als Mangaka tätig ist.
- Masashi Kishimoto, geb. am 8.11.1974 in der Nagi Präfektur Okayama, war schon in frühster Kindheit sehr an Fujiko Fujios Manga Doraemon interresiert. Später zeichnete er zum Spaß die in den 70er Jahren bekannt gewordene Kultserie Dr.Slump, von Akira Toriyama ab. Seine erste profesionelle Arbeit war "Trick", für die er den "Hop-Step-Preis" des Jump Magazins gewann. Seinen ersten richtig großen Erfolg, feierte er aber mit der Mangaserie Naruto, welche in Japan seit 1999 im Shōnen Jump zu lesen ist! Aufgrund seines großen Erfolgs mit Naruto, stand er 2004 auf Platz 3 der Liste der meistverdienenden japanischen Manga-Zeichner. Er hat übrigens auch einen Zwillingsbruder, Seishi Kishimoto. Dieser ist ebenfalls ein Mangaka.

- Masashi Kishimoto was born in the Okayama Prefecture, Japan on November 8, 1974 as the older identical twin of Seishi Kishimoto. During his childhood, Kishimoto showed interest in drawing characters from the anime shows he watched, such as Dr. Slump's Arale and Doraemon's titular protagonist. In elementary school, Kishimoto started watching the Kinnikuman and Dragon Ball anime alongside his brother.
