You can sometimes get Arctek Chests (as well as Grand Arctek Chests) from Things (either as a loot when killing them or by harvesting from them when they are your Pets) and also occasionally from Diamond Treasure Chests which randomly spawn on corrupted blocks in the dark - like in the Corruption layer deep underground. Other than that you can craft these chests yourself in your Crafting Menu (default key "Q") or at Crafting Tables (that still exist in older worlds), but only after the crafting-recipe has been unlocked upon taking Arcstones for the first time, usually obtained from Keepas of any kind. Silver Keepas usually carry/give more Arcstones than ordinary blue ones, and Golden Keepas the most. If you come across these rare Keepas it will be best to try to tame them so you can regularly harvest from them - as the currently best equipment made from Lumite needs Arcstones to be crafted as well. To craft 1 Arctek Chest, you'll need (as of March 2016): * 2 Arcstones, obtained from Keepas of any kind - either as a loot when killing them or by harvesting from them when they are your Pets, or very rarely found in Wood Treasure Chests * 4 Stone slabs, made from Stone, Bedrock or Limestone by using the Processor) * 1 Melted Wax, made from Beeswax by using the Forge or found in Treasure Chests Upon crafting an Arctek Chest for the first time, the crafting-recipe for Grand Arctek Chests will automatically be unlocked. To use this storage-item, place it on the ground and activate it with right-click or "F" (as the default key).
