A liquor flask is the title image of episode 1.20 "The Negotiation". On April 29, 2010, when former alcoholic Mark Benford is ejected from the FBI building by Stanford Wedeck for physically assaulting Lucas Hellinger during Hellinger's interrogation, he wanders into a crowd celebrating Flashforward Day. A man in the crowd hands Benford a flask of liquor. Benford, depressed by what Hellinger had told him about how he was going to die and that his daughter Charlie would be better off without him, slowly opens the flask and begins drinking, thus becoming drunk like he had been in his flashforward. ("Countdown")
