The Supreme Commander of the Imperial Forces led the Imperial Military until 15 ABY; in that year, the incumbent Supreme Commander, Danik Kreldin, led a coup against the Emperor, Aleister Vadim. The coup failed, and the Supreme Commander post left vacant.
