Ringing the bell can do one of several things: * Unholy Clamour -- the Skaven pushing the platform are by invigorated the bell. The altar may move faster. * Emboldens -- emboldens nearby Skaven making them more steadfast. * Scorch -- the bell's tolling opens vents in the earth, scorching foes with warp fire. * Deafening Peals -- the bell releases unnatural vibrations, collapsing buildings and wounding monsters. * A Stirring Beyond the Veil -- something from beyond the veil answers the bell's call. The Skaven break ranks and attack as a single mass. * Wall of Unholy Sound -- the bell chimes leading the Skaven to greater heights of ferocity. * Avalanche of Energy -- the bell releases a wave of energy which makes the Skaven faster in both close combat and movement. * Apocalyptic Doom -- the bell is destroyed by its own ruinous magics, crashing with the force of ten thousand thunderclaps. Everything nearby is struck. The process of developing a Screaming Bell begins with the melting down of unholy Skaven relics then mixing the molten mass with bronze and warpstone. The bell in treated in a thirteen day ritual which involves warlock engineers and a chorus of grey seers muttering the relevant incantations necessary for the enchantments.
