Druné Votorina, born Druné Catalin, was a member of the Catalin family of Naboo, and one of the planet's two ambassadors to the New Republic. Up until 4 ABY, her primary role was as special companion to Queen Kylantha, as the Queen lacked the more traditional handmaidens. Therefore officially her only position was loyalty to the Queen, but privately she very strongly disliked the Empire. It was on her urging that during the uprising of Theed Kylantha locked the palace doors and cut Moff Tronil Excenil off, and she regretted the Queen's allowing him back into Theed when he brought with him a reinforcement fleet, though she understood why. When Kylantha fled Theed, she accompanied her, and happily accepted the position of ambassador to ask help from the Rebel Alliance. On the Queen's suggest

On the Queen's suggestion she remained with the fleet after delivering Kylantha's message, and was among those that signed the Common Charter.
