The Perseus Arm is one of the spiral arms of the Milky Way Galaxy, situated between the Cygnus Arm and the Sagittarius Arm. It is likely located in the Alpha and/or Beta quadrants. During the Borg Invasion of 2381, the USS Aventine and USS Enterprise-E investigated a series of subspace tunnels centralized in the Azure Nebula. One of the tunnels exited the Aventine into the Delta Quadrant halfway between the Carina Arm and the Perseus Arm. (ST - Destiny novel: Mere Mortals)

  • The Perseus Arm is one of many curved "arms" of the Milky Way Galaxy which contains many spatial objects including stars, planets, and nebulae. Between 2253 and 2260, the Federation starship USS Algol performed an extensive survey of the Perseus Arm. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 4: Starships of the Original Series Era)
  • The Perseus arm seemed to extend a short bit through the Delta Quadrant, a little through the Gamma Quadrant, and extended across the length of the Alpha Quadrant. The Perseus Arm was shown on a computer panel in astrometrics on USS Voyager during the later years of its seven-year journey in the Delta Quadrant. (VOY: "Endgame" display graphic [1]) The graphic is also shown (in legible detail) in Geoffrey Mandel's Star Trek: Star Charts.
