You can either score an assist by hitting (without killing) the champion in the last 10 seconds before their death, or by contributing passively during this period of time. • Assistors are players that specialize in passing the ball to a striker or attacker to maximize their damage. Their active skills allow you to choose a player in the line to pass to (except for forward and long passers) and completely fill the action bar of the target, boosting their attack capabilities while allowing them to take their turn immediately. They are a vital component of any offensive forward line.

  • In basketball, an assist is attributed to a player who passes the ball to a teammate in a way that leads to a score by field goal, meaning that he or she was "assisting" in the basket. There is some judgment involved in deciding whether a passer should be credited with an assist. An assist can be scored for the passer even if the player who receives the pass makes a basket after dribbling the ball. However, the original definition of an assist did not include such situations, so the comparison of assist statistics across eras is a complex matter.
  • Assist is one of the possible "postures" of a pet. A pet set to assist will attack the mobs its master is attacking. It will switch targets after a short period of time if its master also switches targets. Other possible pet postures are Defensive and Passive.

  • Level: 250Description: +0.05% per point chance of one of your allies assiting you in combat vs. creatures. (Ally is randomly selected and adds 50% of their Attack, Defense, Damage, Armor, and HP - note this also excludes allies whom are more than 25 levels above you).Stamina: 30Buff Duration: 120 mins. (NOTE: While the description says only 25 levels above you, it seems it doesnt activate for people below you. For example, you're level 100, with a 120 friend and a 80 friend. It will activate for the 120, but not the 80. Might be a bug, might be poor wording. Will update when answer is found)
  • As characters perform attacks, the Assist gauge under their HP bar fills, a section turning orange when it is completely filled. After a few moments of inactivity from the player, their Assist Gauge will start to decrease, so aggressive actions keep the meter filled. Any attack will fill the meter, even if it does not connect. Whenever a character enters EX Mode, the other character's Assist Gauge depletes to zero.
  • In ice hockey, an assist is attributed to up to the two previous players of the scoring team who touched or deflected the puck towards the scoring teammate, meaning that they were "assisting" in the goal. There can be a maximum of two assists per goal. The primary assist is awarded to the player of the same team who touched the puck before the goal scorer. The secondary assist goes to the player of the same team who touched the puck before the primary assister. If the opposing team gains possession and then loses possession again to the player who scores, there are no "assistants" in the goal and therefore no assists are awarded.
  • As the name implies, an Assist character is not a playable character, but is summoned to "assist" the playable character by appearing on-screen and performing their own attack independently of the player character; after using the assist, the character then disappears offscreen and usually enters a cooldown period before they can be summoned again. Some Assists perform the same move every time they are summoned, while others may have randomized movesets or tactical selection based on distance to opponent. Assist characters may or may not have their own Life values, but typically can be hit or interrupted by an opponent's attack just like the player character. Most games that feature assists as a universal mechanic allow for the player to select their assist character independently of their
  • If a pitcher records a strikeout and the catcher catches the third strike, the pitcher is not credited with an assist. However, if the batter becomes a baserunner on a dropped third strike and the pitcher is involved in gaining a putout (i.e., he fields the ball and throws to first base), the pitcher is credited with an assist just as any other fielder would be.
  • If you attempt to use a harmful power on a friendly target or a helpful power on a hostile target, you will automatically use that power on your target's target instead, if it has one and if this secondary target is legal for your power and within range. The game does not move your targeting selector to the new target. Assisting can also be used to automatically use a protective or healing power on whichever teammate a certain enemy is focused on, without needing to guess who that is or waiting to see who gets hurt.
  • An Assist is a support class in the game. Assists are able to cast heal and cast buffs. Assists are usually supporting characters who can cast and heal supportive spells or go offensive and use a knuckle. Using a two-handed Stick, Assists can cast various buffs to help another character or themselves in the game. By using Knuckles ar-ups, Assists can be self-sufficient. These variants of assists are the first class to acquire an AoE attack (Burst Crack), at level 28. Assist abilities include healing, hammering the ground to damage surrounding foes, raising stats temporarily of players, and resurrecting dead players. At level 60, Assists can become Ringmasters or Billposters.
