In 2013, ADI successfully ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund an independent horror film titled Harbinger Down, which is to be directed by Gillis and produced by Woodruff and will feature Aliens and Alien3 actor Lance Henriksen among its cast. The film is designed to stand as a showcase for exclusively practical creature effects.
