The Bladepod wraps itself around useful resources and supplies and seals it within itself, providing ample protection against the elements, and relinquishes the items they bear only to Ing that need it (or if an armor-clad bounty hunter blasts it open). Bladepods were mostly found at the Dark Agon Wastes.

It must rely on other Ing to protect it. If Samus Aran destroys it, an item might appear. Like all Ing, it is highly vulnerable to the Light Beam, but is vulnerable to other weapons as well. They can be found in the Dark Agon Wastes and the Sky Temple Grounds. Like the majority of Ing storage, it will yield ammo for the opposite polarity of that of the beam that was used to destroy it.
