The Copper Cliff Redmen were a junior team. They played under the Northern Ontario Hockey Association. In 1936-37 they played in the senior level Nickel Belt Hockey League (see 1936-37 Northern Ontario Senior Playoffs) and the Southern Section of the 1936-37 Northern Ontario Junior Playoffs. They won the junior playoffs and the 1936-37 Eastern Canada Memorial Cup Playoffs and went on to lose the 1936-37 Memorial Cup Final to the Winnipeg Monarchs. They played in junior B in 1941-42, losing the semi final. The Redmen went on to lose the final in the 1950-51 Northern Ontario Junior B Playoffs.
