- The Lawrence Journal-World is a small privately owned newspaper which has had a history of leading with technology. They currently are at the forefront of the open Django project, which allows their reporters to respond to stories on their website faster than they might be able to in their paper edition. They also use it to supplement the print edition with additional information and with reader feedback. I find this to be maybe not new media, but at least old media "getting it".
