The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time was a chart published by music magazine Rolling Stone in November 2003, which listed the 500 greatest albums ever as voted for by music experts. The albums were voted for by a total of 273 experts, which included rock musicians, critics and industry figures, each of whom submitted a list of their favourite 50 albums. Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles topped the chart.
