Andúril, also called the Flame of the West, is the reforged sword from the shards of Narsil. After the War of the Last Alliance, the shards of Narsil were taken to Rivendell. It was the sword of Aragorn II, heir of Isildur.

- The sword Andúril is wielded by Aragorn II Elessar, son of Arathorn, the Heir of Isildur, Chieftain of the Dúnedain of the North and High King of Gondor and Arnor. It does not have a crafting recipe because it will, in the future, be obtained in quests. Now, however, it can only be obtained via Creative Mode.

Andúril był mieczem, dzięki któremu Aragorn podkreślał swoje pochodzenie podczas podróży z Drużyną Pierścienia. Wedle jego słów oprócz spadkobiercy Elendila każdy, kto by jego miecza dobył, padnie rażony śmiercią.

Andrzej Sapkowski stwierdził, że nazwa może też być utworzona od anagramu Durandala, miecza Rolanda. W ekranizacji powieści, w reżyserii Petera Jacksona, dzieje miecza zostały zmienione. Oręż ten pojawia się dopiero w filmie Powrót Króla, gdzie został wykuty przez elfów ze szczątków Narsila, już długo po wyruszeniu Drużyny Pierścienia z Rivendell. Elrond zdecydował się na to wskutek próśb Arweny. Następnie zabrał go ze sobą i osobiście przekazał miecz Aragornowi w Dunharrow. Dzięki Andúrilowi Aragorn przekonał do siebie Umarłych. Używał go też w boju w bitwie na polach Pelennoru i pod Czarną Bramą oraz nosił u swego boku przy swojej koronacji, już po pokonaniu Saurona.
