Virtual hosting is the ability of Internet service providers or website operators to "host" websites or other services for different entities on one computer while giving the appearance that they exist on separate servers. For instance, with virtual hosting, one might have websites from two separate, distinct organizations residing on and being served from one particular server (with one particular IP address).
